I am going to tell you about Abraham Lincoln

By Mariah Oroquita

Abraham Lincoln. He was born February 12, 1809. He was born in a log cabin in Kentucky. The day that he died was April 15, 1865. His name is Abraham Lincoln his family called him Abe. He was an important person because he was the 16th president of the United States of America and he wanted slavery to end ever he was since he was little and it did stop. So it’s like his dream came true.

I am going to tell you about his childhood he had an older sister,
Older step brother and younger brother that had died. And he also had his mom and dad. His only friends were his sisters and brothers because he didn’t live ware kids were around. He was not rich and snobby. He was very poor and was a good kid and had a hard working family. He mostly lived in then his family and he moved to south to India in the north. He was sent to school once or twice a week.

  • Now I am going to tell you about what motivated him. What motivated him was slavery he wanted to stop it. Then on November 6, 1860 he made his big move and got elected to be president the 16th president. He gust wanted to stop slavery and this was the only way to do it. He wanted to do this because the slaves were getting treated unfairly. And thought it was cruel.

I am going to tell you a little bit about his important achievements. One is that he helped to stop slavery. Two is that He became the 16th president of the United States of America. He was also happy that the north won the civil war no more slaves now he thought.

I am going to tell you about what had happen after all of this. You can learn something form this man to treat all people equal. And an interesting thing is he got married and had two boys. And that is what I have to say about Abraham Lincoln.
